Indoor Championships 2017: Registration open

Registration is now open for the third edition of the LUCA Indoor Championships at Lee Valley on the 25th November.

The competition will incorporate University of London Indoor Championships and the 150th edition of the United Hospitals Athletics Championships.

The ‘UH Shield’ was first awarded in 1867 and is the longest running modern track and field championship, predating the modern olympic games by 29 years.

The three competitions (LUCA Champs, UL Champs and UH Champs) are run in parallel. There are no separate races for each competition. Instead, points are allocated according to eligibility for each competition. The points on offer are the same across all three championships; 1st = 4, 2nd = 2, 3rd = 1.

All athletes must be registered with LUCA ahead of team captains completing the entry form. Registration closes on at Midnight, 19th November.

Eligibility for UH will be decided on at the Council meeting on the 8th November.
