Scoring

The three competitions are run in parallel (LUCA Champs, UL Champs and UH Champs). There are no separate races for each competition. Instead, the points are allocated according to eligibility for each competition. The points on offer are the same across all three championships;

1st = 4
2nd = 2
3rd = 1

LUCA

Everyone running for a LUCA affiliated club is eligible for the LUCA Championships. There are medals awarded for the top three athletes in each event. Points also contribute towards the club championships – the club with the most points wins the LUCA Club Championship (the David Morgan Cup).

University of London

The ‘UL’ trophy is awarded to the top placed University of London college. To check if your college is eligible, click here. We count the first three UL students from each event and award them points (4, 2, 1). We total those points across events to produce the winner.

United Hospitals Shield

The ‘UH’ Shield, is awarded to the top placed United Hospitals Medical School. These are: Barts, RVC, St George’s, GKT, UCL and Imperial. We count the first three UH students from each event and award them points (4, 2, 1). We total those points across events to produce the winner. UH eligibility will be selectable on OpenTrack – please select the appropriate secondary team to score in this competition.
