LUCA is the home of university athletics in London and the South East. Our aim is to develop university athletics and running across London and South East England. We work with clubs to expand training opportunities and provide a comprehensive competition structure.
LUCA was founded by a merger of all the competitions exclusive to London universities and colleges of the University of London. It has the job to act as a governing authority, to provide a competition programme, and to list official records.
LUCA also has a role to develop the sport at the universities. By working with partners such as England Athletics, BUCS and community athletics clubs, we plan to usher in a golden era of university athletics in London and the South East.
We are completely volunteer led. All of our committee members are students or alumni of our affiliated clubs.
