Volunteer Route Marshals needed for the London Student Run

Interested in helping out at the London Student Run on the 4th December?

Why not try being a route marshal?

Why we need you:

With this being our first ever London Students’ Run, we’re looking for some passionate, excited and inspiring volunteers to become an integral part of the delivery of the event. Your support will help us to put on the best event we can.

What will you be doing?

Motivate, cheer and direct participants by covering one of the marshal points on the course. This crucial role ensures the event runs smoothly and participants feel motivated and run in the right direction. This role is perfect for team players with great communication skills who can use their initiative when dealing with anything that may occur on the course.

What are the benefits?

Meet new students, whether they are other volunteers or participants.

Volunteering can help you learn some great new skills and gain new experience to support you in your personal and career development.

How much time do you need to commit?

The event will run from 08:30-12:00 on Sunday 4th December, including the briefing, races and close.

What support will you be given?

You will receive briefing notes before the event and a full explanation of your role on the day.

Alyx, your team manager, will guide and support you in your role and answer any questions you may have.

Please email alyx.murray-jackman@kcl.ac.uk by Monday 28th November if you’re interested.
