Night of the 10kms 2017 is almost upon us!

The only lane 3 beer ‘n cheer in the world is soon to be here. On the 20th May 2017, London’s Parliament hill athletic track is holding their annual ‘Night of the 10,000m’ event. For those who are unsure what this means, spectators stand in lane 3 of Parliament Hill athletics track whilst Britain’s top athletes battle it out over a series of 10,000m races. The event this year also incorporates the IAAF World Athletics Championship Team GB Trials (in London this summer by the way!), the British Championships, and the BUCS 10,000m.

Sounds pretty great, right?

That’s not even half of it:
The back straight is converted into a 100m long bar, the field is abounding with cars we can only dream of owning, as well as dancers, entertainers, DJs and much, much more.

And to top it all off, special guest speakers at a pre-event seminar include Lord Seb Coe, Paula Radcliffe MBE, and Ronnie O’Sullivan OBE (LUCA team selfie with them?).

So while PB hunting athletes form the epicentre of this Catherine Wheel of lactic joy, it’s the #Lane3BeerNCheer spectators who provide the pyrotechnic atmospheric fizz to inspire fast times.

Make sure May 20th is circled on wall calendars across the land, spread the word and join us at this fantastic event. Entry is free!
