LUCA is pleased to announce the upcoming fixtures for the Cross Country League and the Indoor Championships.
The new season could be LUCA’s biggest yet, with new clubs joining the league. UEA and University of Kent have both affiliated with LUCA and other clubs in the home counties are expected to join soon.
The cross country league will remain four races – two in each semester. An athlete’s best three results will contribute to their league standing.
The Cross Country league will begin with the traditional curtain raiser at Parliament Hill on the 18th October, hosted by UCL.
The second league race – which will also feature the University of London and United Hospitals championships – will be held at Wimbledon Common on the 15th November, hosted by KCL.
The remaining two races come in 2024 – Mitcham Common on the 24th Jan (St George’s hosting) and the 21st Feb (Imperial hosting).
The Indoor Championships will be held at Lee Valley on the 2nd December.
Dates for outdoor meets are still unconfirmed. However, LUCA can confirm we will host a pre-BUCS open meet and an outdoor championship.
