King’s retain indoors title

Lateefah Agberemi’s dominant display in the sprints and jumps earned King’s a second successive indoors title.

King’s pipped Imperial to the title by 13 points, with 16 points coming from Agberemi. The joint record points haul (tied with LSE’s Yasmin Lakin in 2016-17) earned Agberemi the prestigious LUCA MVP award along with gold medals in the 60m, 60mH, long and triple jump.

St George’s extended their grip on the UH Shield, boosted by strong performances by Jennifer Nandi who picked up gold in the 1500m and 3000m. St George’s have now won three UH Shield’s in a row and their dominance doesn’t seem likely to falter any time soon. Could they be eyeing up Imperial’s 12 year string of titles between 2004-2015?
