Preliminary results from yesterday’s LCAS meet are now online. LUCA clubs competing alongside athletes in the London Inter-Club Challenge (LICC) which included teams from Oxford, Cambridge and as far as Australia. LCAS standings will be updated later this week.
Essex Blades top the LCAS Club Championship after the first meet at Parliament Hill. The second annual LUCA London Colleges Athletics Series (LCAS) got underway on Saturday at Parliament Hill Athletics Track. 13 universities took part – more than at any other LCAS event last year. Of the 188 athletes competing, 109 achieved a personal best. For many, this was their first track and field meet. The meet started with a straight final for the 10,000 championship.
