When is it: Wednesday 19th October at 3p.m.

Where is it: Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath – the start is to the right of the athletics track

Who is it for: Any student from a LUCA member club, it doesn’t matter whether you’re trying out cross-country for the first time or are well-acquired with extensive amounts of mud already!

How far is it: Around 4km for women and 8km for men

Course details: Course map can be found at http://www.london-athletics.com/maps/; terrain will be mainly grassy so spikes are suitable for the course

Registration: No registration required, although some clubs do ask for a list of names before hand to help plan transport and food. Get in contact with your club captain.

Results: You will receive a token as you cross the finishing line which must be handed in to the finishing desk to have your result recorded. Once these are verified they will be posted at www.london-athletics.com along with a full race report.

What should I run in: Ideally you should wear your university team vest, but there are no other restrictions. Spikes are recommended.

Further details: For past results check out http://www.london-athletics.com/results/lcl/

Whilst you don’t need to register please do turn up in plenty of time to warm up and acquaint yourself with the course. Expect mud and rain aplenty!

We look forward to seeing you there!
