LUCA is subsidizing two places on an upcoming coaching course at the Paddington Academy.
The’Leadership in running fitness’ (LiRF) course is on the 7th May. The course will take place at Paddington Academy, 50 Marylands Road, London, W9 2DR. The nearest tube is Maida Vale.
The LiRF course is a great opportunity to get on the coaching ladder.
The course will enable you to deliver fun and safe sessions to multi-ability groups and give advice and support to the new runner, as well as developing pathways for those who want to progress. It focuses on understanding and overcoming barriers to participation in running and how to increase participation by those not traditionally attracted to a running club.
The course costs £140 but LUCA will fund 50% of the fees for two students.
Email james@london-athletics.com to request funding. Then fill out the application form and pay the fee. LUCA will then reimburse you £70.
Funding will be awarded based on club need.
