This year’s edition of the festival will be held from July 13th to 15th, giving running enthusiasts the opportunity to join upwards of a thousand likeminded runners for three days of trail running adventures, workshops, inspirational talks and live music at one of the UK’s most beautiful coastal spots, Wales’ Gower Peninsula. Combining live music and all things running in this inspirational three-day escape to the best of the British countryside, the festival is set against the backdrop of stunning sand dune-dotted beaches, dramatic cliffs, winding coastal trails and ancient woodland.

Runners will be able to explore all these on day and night-time guided runs ranging from 3 to 65 kilometres, often in the presence of pro-athletes such as Ricky Lightfoot and Katie Kaars Sijpestenijn.

By day, runners can get involved in the beer mile relay, the legendary pub crawl run, guided trail running adventures and wild swims, among other adrenaline-piquing activities such as surfing and coasteering. These are then rounded off with some well-deserved wellness activities, from outdoor yoga sessions through to an invigorating soak in the open air hot tubs.

Once suitably relaxed, festival-goers can settle by the crackling fire of the Campfire Stage and listen to a host of inspirational talks from a carefully curated line-up of adventure athletes, explorers & thought-leaders, then let go to the sound of live music and DJ’s including DJ Yoda and The Correspondents as the sun dips below the horizon and the stars come out.

The festival also offers running and adventure film screenings, as well as plenty of workshops, catering to all tastes; eye-catching titles include “how to make your own nutrition bars”, “yoga for runners”, “running photography” and “advanced navigation/night navigation”.

A limited number of 15% discounted student tickets will be made available for purchase via London Students’ Run & LUCA later this week.
