Who wants to be part of the first ever LUCA One Mile Road Championships on 26 May 2019?!

This year LUCA is teaming up with the Vitality Westminster Mile to organise a ‘LUCA only wave’, which will serve as our inaugural LUCA One Mile Road Championships. This promises to be an exciting race in the heart of London!

How do I enter?
Entries are to be made by the individual athlete and cost £8. Athletes MUST use this link otherwise they won’t be placed in the LUCA wave. You must have a LUCA ID (register here if needed).

-Prizes 🥇🥈🥉? Silver salvers will be awarded to the first three men and the first three women. The presentations will take place in front of Buckingham Palace on the day!! There will also be a team competition with four to score from a team of six. The team results will be announced after the event.

The programme for Sunday 26 May also includes family and adult races, school races, the British Age Group Road Mile Championships for runners in the Under 13 to Under 20 age groups and elite races. Laura Muir will be opening her summer season in the elite women’s race and Jamie Webb will race in the elite men’s event. The Olympians Mile brings together athletes who have competed for Great Britain in any sport in an Olympic Games (summer or winter).

There’s also the free Vitality Wellness Festival all day in Green Park, featuring a range of come and try it activities including coaching sessions in cricket, netball, boxing and other sports, the famous giant Tumbleator and plenty more.
