Hyde Park Relays
The LUCA Road Relays are held in within Hyde Park Relays. The event is organised by Imperial College Cross Country & Athletics in partnership with LUCA.
The event
Hyde Park Relays is the UK’s largest annual student relay and has been organised by Imperial College for over 70 years. It is a 5km relay race in Hyde Park with a route that includes some of London’s iconic landmarks such as Serpentine lake, Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner.
For the first time, LUCA will host the LUCA Road Relay Championships as an embedded competition in this year’s Hyde Park Relays (2025). LUCA Clubs and alumni will benefit from a discounted entry fee.
There are men’s, women’s and mixed relay teams.

LUCA Medals will be awarded to the top three teams in each category: student men’s, student women’s and student mixed.
Note: Mixed teams of any proportion can participate but only teams of 2 men and 2 women are eligible for prizes in the mixed category.
The race provides electronic timing. Individual leg results will be available.
